Welcome to Sarnia, the largest city on the shores of Lake Huron with a population of approximately 75,000 and a medical catchment area of 120,000. Best known for beautiful beaches and blue waters, Sarnia has been a key Canadian clinical research community since the 1990s. Our residents are accustomed to clinical studies, are interested in being involved in trials, and have a short commute to our site.

Our Team

About our Clinical Study Site

The two Principal Investigators of Bluewater Clinical Research Group have a combined 50 years’ experience in conducting over 150 clinical studies with over 2,000 individual trial subjects. Our site complies with and all staff are trained on FDA Good Clinical Practice regulations and Health Canada Food and Drug Regulations, Division 5, Part C.

We employ five Clinical Study Coordinators and, at any given time, we are active in 15-20 clinical trials and are enrolling for 5-10 clinical studies. We have a newly renovated dedicated clinical study space located in the same facility as the family practices of the Principal Investigators. Finally, we have a dedicated workspace for Sponsor Monitors to complete their reviews.
